Division Description

Valpo Americans prides itself on being the competitive league in Valparaiso. The divisions offer players the opportunity to learn and grow with their peers.  Listed below is a brief description of each division alongside the Spring 2016 registration fee.

Instructional ($50.00)

This division is for baseball players 4 to 6 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. Players hit a ball off a batting tee.

Denim ($120.00)

This division is for baseball players 7 to 8 years old to continue to build upon the fundamentals of hitting and fielding with machine and player pitch.

Minors ($135.00)

This division is for baseball players 9 to 10 years old. Teams are drafted based on evaluation process where they continue to develop the fundamentals. The season culminates in the All-Star tournament.

Majors ($145.00)

This division is for baseball players 11 to 12 years old and drafted based on the evaluation process. This division increases the pace and strength of the game. The season culminates in the All-Star tournament.

Juniors ($155.00)

This division is for baseball players 13 to 15 years old and drafted based on the evaluation process. This level focuses on increasing the players’ skills and pace. The season culminates in the All-Star tournament.

Seniors/Big League ($165.00)

This division is for baseball players 15 to 18 years old and drafted based on the evaluation process. This division allows for players to compete in both High School and the League schedule. The season culminates in the All-Star tournament.
